So I have had a collection of rose gold pastel hair tone inspiration pictures saved on my last 2 phones— thanks to iCloud they have been haunting me. So when I decided to take the pastel plunge, I went back to Pinterest, and I noticed this time I was more and more drawn to the peachier tones. When I went into the beach location of Parlour Salon, Nathaniel, the hair wizard, knew exactly what to do. He wanted to play with my original copper tones and he did balyage throughout. I absolutely loved the whole process, not only was Nathaniel the biggest sweetheart, but he knew customized this perfect look for me based on my skin tone, and natural colouring, to give me the statement I was looking for, but still keeping it very natural.
To lighten my hair he used Olaplex, a 2 step process, with a suggested third step. First Nathaniel used Olaplex Bond Multiplier to lighten, and then after toning, he used Bond Perfector, which fights against breakage, leaving your hair stronger and healthier after colouring. The third step is a take home once a week treatment.
Honestly, I have never seen my hair so shiny and healthy looking, especially after colouring. I have extremely fine hair, and I am always cautious of what products are being used in my hair. I was so excited when I first heard about this Olaplex line, that I knew now was the time to go pastel. Take a look at the beautiful tones of my new ‘do!
