I really wanted to call this post “Pretty in Millennial Pink” but I am not wearing enough pink (or as much as I normally do) to warrant that… Basically when I put this outfit on I felt like a modern day Molly Ringwald with the pencil skirt and the denim jacket over a knotted tee. So if you see me dancing in a library, eating cake on a counter, or putting on lipstick in unconventional ways, you know why!
I love adding a graphic tee to a look to add a little fun and whimsy to an outfit. Today I bought another pink one —literally within 45 seconds of first seeing it online! I have no idea how it happened that fast, but I am going to work on growing my collection, because I love the way that graphic tees look as a focal point in a pastel or monochromatic look like this, but also, the perfect way to tszuj up a floral skirt.
Now looking back at this outfit I want to know how many other pastel tones I can sneak into one look. Maybe a dash of purple, and some pastel peach and a splash of soft yellow… Let’s take some bets—how many do you think I can squeeze in? Also, if anyone knows of some other pastel tones that I may not be aware of make sure to send them my way!
I have a problem.
